This weekend is one of the most joyous of the Jewish feasts. Purim is celebrated in the Jewish month of Adar (usually March) to commemorate the deliverance of the Jews on the date chosen by lot or "pur" for their extermination. In honor of this feast, and in examining the meaning it holds for us as Christians, I have expanded the previous study on Purim:
